- adidas Predator Mania remake - adidas have brought back the adidas Predator Mania from 2002 in a remake for 2019 with the original 1:1 leather upper from the old adidas Predator Mania from 2002. The Predator Mania remake is made with the same stitch pattern and materials as the OG adidas Predator Mania from 2002, and today JayMike from Unisport and Josh from SR4U discuss the latest release from adidas, in what they both call the best remake adidas have made yet.

adidas Predator Mania remake is a football boot made for power and control. Released in 2002, the original adidas Predator Mania was designed to give adidas players such as Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham the right tools to make a difference on the pitch - and with SL rubber elements, a leather tongue and a new elastic rubber band, the adidas Predator Mania was a fearsome tool. The accuracy is what would put it over the top for me so I might go with the most recent OG colorway Accelerator partially just because it's my fave Pred. The electricity version had the wrong color red and despite DB being my fave player, would have preferred the CL logo on the heel of his Precision remake. Am I off or does the red on the Mania remake have a lighter tone? Also as you both pointed out having the stripes wrap underneath would have been icing on the cake. Regardless, great all around, can't wait to try them.

Awesome boot, but I will let them rest in peace cause I am not forking out $350 dollars or $1000 on Ebay.
The predator mania was the boot I dreamed of as a child. I used to have take down model in champagne colorway. Its great that adidas rereleases them now that I can afford them even though they are pricey. I ordered a pair and will fullfill a childhood dream. They look incredible in pictures and videos. The red and champagne colorways are the coolest in my oponion. Agree with Mike that they should have used a split sole plate. I also thin that they should have used the original helcounter which distinguish it from the take down models. Hope that adidas will make a full 1 to 1 remake regarding everything.
They’re remaking the Japan blues, coming out in March. They know that but can’t say.

I got my pair of remakes on their way. The price was very high but it's the Mania and the best remake of it too. I had to, I bought them to use as well. The remakes look and sound like they are better, with obvious advancements in technology Etc... but I will always be indebted to the OG. Regrettably sold my old pair.
The red colourway was just it for me, only the champagne came close... I always had to flip a coin but even then sometimes played odd boots.
I've ordered the boost mania as well and I cant wait to have these remakes and trainers side by side.
What is everyone's opinion on the mania boost trainers? I liked them when I first saw them but then they have grown on me even more.

Never owned a predator but felt the powerswerves were the last decent predators... I felt like at that time at least 2-3 of your guys were rocking it in the starting lineup
Thanks for the review guys. Understand Josh wanting a different colorway since he has the OGs in red...gunmetal would have been my 1st choice. Was lucky to be playing when the Accelerator, Precision and Mania were all new so love the remakes, but price is awful.
Black would have been classic would definitely sell more boots in that color way

Hi, Jay Mike and Juniphoria. How can you tell a boot performs well? What does performance menas? How many years or pairs had to pass so that you can say, for example, the Vapor elite performs better than the Copa 19.1. I have booth this pairs and can say which one I like the msot, but cannot actually say which one performs better. I don´t know if my question is too naive or philosophical.
